Day 1: Dar es Salaam → Nyerere National Park | Transfer & Boat Safari
Location: Nyerere National Park

Meet your driver-guide in Dar es Salaam and begin your
journey to Nyerere National Park, passing through scenic rural landscapes and
local villages. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by some
relaxation before heading out for a late afternoon boat safari along the Rufiji
River. This unique experience allows you to get close to hippos, crocodiles,
and elephants gathering along the riverbanks, all while enjoying a beautiful
sunset over the water. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive | Nyerere Wilderness Experience
Location: Nyerere National Park

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Nyerere
National Park, one of Africa’s largest and most untouched wildlife areas.
Explore diverse habitats including open plains, woodlands, and riverine
ecosystems. You may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and
even the rare African wild dogs. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before
continuing your exploration. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon for
dinner and relaxation.
Day 3: Nyerere → Kilwa Kisiwani | Cultural & Historical Exploration
Location: Kilwa Kisiwani

After breakfast, depart Nyerere and drive south toward
Kilwa, a historic coastal town rich in Swahili culture and history. Upon
arrival, visit the famous Kilwa Kisiwani ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
that dates back to the 9th century. Explore ancient mosques, palaces, and
trading structures that tell the story of East Africa’s coastal trade history.
Enjoy the peaceful coastal atmosphere before heading to your lodge for dinner
and overnight.
Day 4: Kilwa → Dar es Salaam | Return Journey
Location: Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Dar es Salaam.
Enjoy scenic views of Tanzania’s southern coastline and countryside along the
way, passing through local villages and coastal landscapes. Arrive in Dar es
Salaam in the afternoon, marking the end of your unique safari and cultural
adventure.
