Ngomi Adventures began around a campfire in the Serengeti. After years of guiding for large, volume-driven operations, we noticed a pattern: travellers were rushing through the most beautiful landscapes on earth just to tick a box.
We realized that the best moments in the bush happen when you stop moving. It’s the hour after sunset when the lions call. It’s the quiet morning watching a dung beetle do its work. It’s the stories shared with a local guide who knows the land like the back of his hand.
We founded Ngomi to protect the art of the slow safari. We are 100% Tanzanian-owned, deeply rooted in Arusha, and fiercely committed to showing you our home the way it was meant to be seen.
By traveling with us, your investment stays within the local economy. We are proud to be entirely locally owned and operated from Arusha, supporting our community from the ground up.
Our guides are the heart of Ngomi. We ensure fair wages, continuous training, and career progression. We never compromise on safety, respect for wildlife, or park regulations.
We practice "leave no trace" safaris and partner strictly with eco-friendly camps and lodges that actively contribute to wildlife conservation and anti-poaching initiatives.
No cookie-cutter itineraries. Every trip is designed from a blank page to match your pace, your interests, and your dream of Africa.
The vehicle is your home, your dining room, and your photography blind while in the national parks. That’s why we maintain our own private fleet of custom-modified 4x4 Toyota Land Cruisers.
